Description

The WizziKit is a full DASH7 Wireless Sensor-Actuator Network prototyping framework based on WizziLab hardware and open-source collaborative platforms. It operates in the 863-870 MHz (EU) ISM band or 902-928 MHz (US) ISM bands.

The kit contains:

  • WizziGate GW2120 (x1) with antenna for the selected band and USB power cable
  • D7A Nucleo Shield SH2050 (x2) for the selected band.
  • Nucleo-L432KC (x2) to host your shields.
  • Mini USB cable (x2) to power up your Nucleo Board and program it
  • Access to the DASH7Board cloud service hosted by WizziLab

What do you need to get started?

To use the kit you need to have:

  • The WizziKit
  • One USB power supply for the Gateway (5V, 1A). Your iPhone charger would work.
  • A computer with a web browser and a USB port to develop your own code and program your application on the Nucleo board.

No software toolchain to install, no JTAG programmer to buy!

Who should buy it?

You should buy it if:

  • You want to evaluate the DASH7 Alliance Protocol (D7A).
  • You want to deploy a D7A network to connect your custom made objects to the DASH7Board
  • You want to prototype your sensor application using MBED and use D7A to communicate.

Software

The shields are fully programmed an configured with WizziLab’s D7A stack. A procedure to upgrade the code when new releases of the stack are available will be offered.

An application example including the shield driver in source are available on MBED to program your application on the Nucleo board (D7A_1X_demo).
